Coulter Family Dentistry just completed a top to bottom renovation making it the newest Knoxville dental office. To celebrate this renovation we hosted an open house inviting family, friends and other Knoxville area professionals.
The building is located in the heart of the Bearden District in Knoxville, making it an obvious choice for housing Coulter Family Dentistry. Its close proximity to Krispy Kreme and Calhoun’s didn’t hurt either. Decades ago the Kingston Pike Professional building was built in 1971 by a group of dentists as a place for like minded dental professionals in Knoxville to practice their profession. The structure of the building is conducive to dentistry. However, this pig was going to need some lipstick if she was to win at the state fair.
The space at Coulter Family Dentistry was never supposed to get a makeover. It all started with “hey, let’s put some new flooring down in the treatment rooms”. The flooring renovation quickly expanded into the hallways. We then realized that the redoing the trim and wall coverings would complement the new flooring. Before you could blink there were televisions in the ceiling, massaging chairs and some great artwork!
Here is a video of the entire project:
We feel like the change is for the better and hope that you agree. To celebrate the transformation we hosted an open house at Coulter Family Dentistry. We knew many people from the Knoxville community would attend and erected a tent to house the masses. Two of Knoxville’s favorite event hosts were called on to help with the event. Dead End BBQ supplied the food and Thad Cox of Ashe’s Wines and Spirits assisted with the beverages. After seeing how many people came to our office for the BBQ and pinot noir we may need to offer that to patients in an affort to increase compliance with 6 month dental cleanings.
We had a great time hosting everyone. The weather was beautiful and the company was fantastic. Thanks to our family, friends and the Knoxville dental community who came out to our open house. If you were unable to attend the event please feel free to pop in anytime!
