Look and Feel Your Best
Porcelain veneers and composite bonding
Porcelain veneers and composite bonding are great ways to enhance your smile and elevate the appearance of your teeth. At Coulter Family Dentistry we love using cosmetic dentistry in Knoxville to bring life and rejuvenation to a smile. Cosmetic dentistry options, such as porcelain veneers, are an ideal treatment option if you want to fill gaps or straighten uneven teeth. One reason that veneers in Knoxville are so popular is that they can address a wide range of cosmetic issues.
Your smile is your best accessory so let us show you what is possible with a digital smile design or virtual smile consult.
Veneers can be used to correct imperfections in teeth, such as:
Misaligned Teeth
Veneers can be a great option for minor alignment issues, offering a fast alternative to braces. By reshaping the front surfaces of teeth, they give the smile a straighter, more uniform look right away.
Gaps Between Teeth
Veneers can close minor gaps between teeth, eliminating the need for orthodontic treatment. By reshaping the teeth, they create a seamless, well-balanced smile.
Broken Teeth
Veneers provide a strong and lasting solution for teeth that are chipped, cracked, or broken from wear or injury, restoring both their look and durability.
Misshapen Teeth
Uneven or misshapen teeth—even those that are too small—can be transformed with veneers. Their precise, custom fit creates a balanced, symmetrical, and more appealing smile.
Worn Down Teeth
If grinding (bruxism) or daily wear has shortened or flattened your teeth, veneers offer a restorative solution that enhances their look and reinforces their structure.
Discolored Teeth
Porcelain veneers can hide deep stains and discoloration caused by age, medications, or other factors. They provide a durable solution when teeth whitening isn’t effective.

Before/After
When patients seek cosmetic dentistry it is because they want to love their smile. Dental veneers are typically made from porcelain and bonded to the front of your teeth. We like porcelain to be used because it provides a very natural color that is resistant to staining. Veneers are not once size fits all. We custom tailor the veneers to fit your facial structure and your smile.

Have Questions?
Can I preview my veneers before we get started?
- Absolutely! Our Digital Smile Design process allows us to begin with the end in mind. We will take a full face photo of you smiling and digital enhance your teeth. This allows you to preview the color shape and position of your teeth, and visualize how hey will blend with your face.
How white should I make my veneers?
- Veneer shape and color is not one size fits all. You skin tone plays a big role in how the “white” teeth will look in your face. For example, a person with darker skin tones will do well with a bright white color. If we put that same color in someone with a lighter skin tone, they may appear washed out and pale. We believe is taking a bespoke approach to smile design and cosmetic dentistry.
How long do veneers last?
- The quality and craftmanship that go into making your veneers have a direct effect on their longevity. You oral environment, diet and hygiene routine will determine if your veneers last 10+ years.
What are veneers made from?
- Veneers can be made with porcelain, zirconia or composite. Porcelain veneers are our go to material for esthetics and longevity. Zirconia veneers are incredibly strong and great at covering up severely stained teeth. Composite veneers can be completed in one visit and are easily repaired. In our digital smile design process we will discuss which material is right for you.
Do you shave down my teeth for veneers?
- Our goal is to be as minimally invisible as possible when enhancing your smile with veneers. In some cases we can barely alter your teeth. If you have a tooth that is rotated or severely discolored, we may need to reduce more you’re your tooth in order to optimize our esthetic result. We will not cut your teeth down to nubs or make them look like teepees. When we do veneers our goal it to enhance what you’ve got, not aggressively alter your teeth.
